Summertime Cocktails
With alfresco entertaining season comes a desire for delicious drinks that heat up the party and cool down guests. Fortunately, we’ve got an exceptional lineup of thirst quenchers. These fabulous concoctions, which feature summer’s freshest ingredients, will put the sizzle in any soiree.
Strawberry Peach Daiquiri
5 oz. canned peaches in heavy syrup (from a 15 oz. can)* 2 fresh limes 3 oz. Tennessee whiskey 2 tbsp sugar Ice Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
In a blender, purée entire can of peaches. Transfer peach purée to a separate bowl or pitcher. Rinse blender bowl and return to base. To make two drinks: Juice two limes and pour juice into blender. Add whiskey, peach purée, and sugar. Fill serving glass with ice, add ice to blender and repeat, adding another glass of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into cocktail glasses. Garnish with whipped cream.
